  1. I've got to figure out what my new phone's going to be. I have a 3 year old HTC Tilt right now. It's decent, and it has a real keyboard with actual buttons (which I like), but the browser isn't anywhere near as good as most of the newer phones I've looked at. I'm probably going to stick with AT&T (they have the best reception in my area), but I've got some issues with the iPhone.

  2. I have a lot of issues with apple. They don't apply to everyone else, and I recognize that they make a decent product, especially aesthetically, but they aren't for me. I don't own any apple products, and the only way I would is if they drastically changed their business model.

It would be a huge post to list all of the things that bother me, but the biggest is that they are using intel hardware with linux software and then charging a ton. I also don't like being forced to use Itunes just to copy over a few songs. They make everything "simple" so that anyone can use it, but as soon as it doesn't work or you try and do something besides only using apple, then it gets very difficult very fast. I suppose if you had a ton of money and just went entirely apple it would be a good experience. As a tech type of person, I don't like being controlled or limited that way.

I am really enjoying my new phone. It's essentially a mini tablet. I've gotten used to the virtual keyboard, and I type even faster on it than when I had a phone with a physical qwerty. I haven't found anything that an Iphone can do, that an Android phone can't also do as well. Unfortunately if you have to stay with AT&T, the only android phone they have right now didn't get good reviews. You might try Sprint out anyways. They have a 30 day trial period and they will refund you everything if you aren't satisfied. Also, if Verizon is okay in the area as well, Sprint roams for free on Verizon so the service on the map doesn't look as good as it actually is. Worth a shot, and free if you don't like it.

  3. When I said they don't apply to everyone else, I really meant that they don't "necessarily" apply to everyone else. Some people might think they are silly or not a problem.
